Contact and newsletter forms
The contact and newsletter forms are active. Contact submissions save your name, email address, subject and message so the store owner can review and respond to your enquiry; a notification is also sent to the owner by email. Newsletter signup saves your email address, consent and subscription status, and sends a confirmation email through Resend. Your subscription becomes active after you confirm it. You can unsubscribe using the link in the email.
Account sign-in
Account creation and sign-in are provided by Clerk. Information you enter in the account forms is sent to Clerk to manage your account and session.
Cart and test checkout
Cart selections are stored in this browser tab’s session storage. Availability checks send product selections and quantities to our server. Checkout uses Stripe in test mode: information entered in Stripe’s hosted form is sent to Stripe, and test order records, contact and shipping details, and payment status are saved by this website. Full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by this website. No real payment is collected and no goods are shipped for test orders.
Services used
The website uses Vercel for hosting, Neon for database storage, Contentful for website content, Clerk for accounts, Stripe for test checkout, and Resend for email delivery. Submitted information is processed by the services needed to provide the feature you use. The protected owner dashboard displays saved submissions and test orders.
Before launch
This notice describes the current preview and is not the final approved privacy policy. Before the store launches, the client must review and approve the business contact details, retention periods, customer rights and request procedures, and any additional policy requirements.
